The OrganizationFounded in 1988 as Martin Electronic Services, Joseph T. Martin provided part time industrial personal computer programming and repair services from home. Incorporated as Martin Software & Design Inc. in January of 1993, Martin was warmly welcomed into the industrial controls marketplace by vendors and clients alike. The business, now a full time venture, hired employees and grew through a desire to deliver better services to industrial clients while providing opportunities for its employees and their families quality of live and future. In October of 2001, the name was changed to Martin Control Systems, Inc., a name that better communicates the industrial control system focus that the company took in its early years. A Certified CSIA IntegratorIn 1997, MartinCSI was accepted as a member of the Control System Integrators Association, a NEMA Industrial Automation Division affiliate for control system integrators. This Association is a network of firms that are highly respected by their industrial manufacturing clients. Members are often the experts and leader in their fields. As the largest organization in North America for independent control system integrators, CSIA represents companies responsible for more than $1 billion in industrial automation equipment, including $400 million of hardware and software automation products. After 18 months of preparation, MartinCSI was audited and awarded the Control System Integrators Association Certified status In August of 2002. MartinCSI was re-audited in March of 2006 and again achieved the the CSIA benchmark. MartinCSI will be re-audited again in 4QTR-2009. Our LocationFrom 1992 to 2003, MartinCSI shared offices in Grove City, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, with Martin Painting and Coating Company, another Martin family owned company. In 2003, MartinCSI moved to it's current 3,400 square foot offices in Dublin, Ohio, another suburb of Columbus. The Martin family has a long history of work quality tradition and of providing quality services at a fair price to thousands of commercial and industrial clients throughout the Midwest, dating back to 1953. Trade GroupsMartinCSI stays active in the Columbus, Ohio Chapter of the International Society of America (ISA), the Industry & Technology Council of Central Ohio (ITC) and many other similar organizations. MartinCSI also regularly contributes to organizations that provide direct benefit to the community such as 4H, Chamber of Commerce, a local college scholarship fund and several organized youth athletic leagues.
